This guy is ok. But Seriously? is this what Geffen have chosen to sign, produce, market and distribute? Does Matt White really represent the best the world has to offer in this genre?
I am a singer songwriter and not only do I have a better live vocal delivery, but my quality lyrics are delivered with more conviction.

I have seen stronger songwriting for free at my local open mic night.
Dont get me wrong, I think Matt delivers a lot of passion in his performance, but so do many singer songwriters, this song might have an appeal because it is a bit qwerky, and he is a goodlooking white male, but it is far from being a classic hit with longevity.
Where is the real talent hiding in this great world of ours?
Or is this a sign that mediocre really is all we have to strive to be to strike a deal with Geffen?
