WE MISS BLINK 182
i miss blink 182! why Tom couldn't grow up with blink 182!? i want to buy another new CD of blink! AVA sounds a little bit good but nothin would be like blink 182! Tom is the best guitarrist in the world and the funniest! the same is Mark with this base! and Travis is awesome with his drums! i miss you guys! pLz come back!
Just A Thought- Which Is True
OK BLINK !82 WILL FOREVER BE THE BEST BAND IN THE WORLD> but were talkin about AAA for now. blink will be forever missed. i still dont no y theyre not still together but should be cuz i know theyd still sell like CRAZY! but w.e this cd is moving. it has emotion to it if u listen. u must relate sum parts to life n boarden ur horizons a lil n uderstand wat theyre tryin to say within theyre lyrics. well i love them. xoxo stef

Never heard of them before but they sound great or would do if only a little more was played of each song. All you seemed to hear was the Intro which is alright for those that know them but i would have liked just a little bit moreto make up my mind. Video to Adventure is brilliant though (and by the way i'm 53, so no spring chicken). Jean
blink 182 forever
blink 182 is the maximum kicking as band I e ver knew and will ever be it, I have almost all their albums and know each end everyone of their songs, there will never be a band like them, tom, is a genious, and I dont know how someone like him, would want this idea of angels and airwaves than whit the best of the best, tha band that moved masses, now their songs are like not as motivating as they were before
best cd yet
i mean what can i say? this CD is fliping awesome, i have had it ever since it came out & i have listened to it at least 20 times!! the songs are so great & the band is a great MIX of rock like the one & only Tom Delonge. Sure Blink 182 is gone every1 will miss them but this band is some what better. The band members are also a good mix trowing in David from BoxCar Racer and Atom from OffSpring & some dude that looks KickAss(the bass player) he kicks ass @ playin that bass. The Adventure was the 1st song i heard about 2 months ago & i fell in luv with it well thats it KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK & PLZ COME TO BALTIMORE
Think of it like an adventure.
If you're sitting alone on a friday night, with your ipod head phones in and AVA playing Valkyrie Missile, you'll really feel a sense of adventure, that you want to take. AVA is the best music in decades, but not to the drunk at the disco. It's sensational, but you really have to try and feel the music rather than just hear it in the background. Blink was very forward, AVA songs tend to start slow, and pick up. They tell stories of great moments and adventures. Feel it man!
Disappointing.
Whoever says that this is the best music made in decades doesn't know a thing about good music. I was a <u>huge</u> Blink 182 fan and recently saw AVA at Give it a name in Earls Counrt. Me and my friends were laughing so hard we almost pissed ourselves because they were so shit. Not everyone can like all music but hearing of Tom DeLonge saying his new band was bigger than Christ was a bit of a joke. I'm no Christian but what a faggot. This music just sounds like really badly done U2 with Tom DeLonge's whiney voice drowning out any tiny hope it has of sounding good. Hes gone from funny Tom DeLonge from Blink 182 to talking shit about how hes going to 'steamroll the world' with this band. The only way I can describe it is a complete joke.
The Best Music made in Decades!
After hearing about AVA in kerrang, I have been wanting to buy their album. I am a huge fan of Blink, and now I can say that AVA are more than what I expected to arrive after Blink's split. The album is amazing, and will take you on the best adventure music can provide. Suspense, happiness, fear and enjoyment are all in their incredible music, and well worth going out to buy! Well done guys :)
Amazing? Yes. Yes, it is.
I fell in love with Angels and Airwaves before I had even heard "The Adventure." Just the vibe this band gives off is amazing. Listening to the album for the first time from a leak, I was literally speechless. No other CD has changed my outlook like "We Don't Need To Whisper" has. The only downside I have discovered with this album is the supposed two bonus tracks only available to the UK. I find this unfair, but really, what can you do. I thinkg everyone should buy this album. It will change your life. End of story. Everyone, everyone will listen Even if it hurts. {"We Don't Need To Whisper" - In stores May 23rd } If love's a word that you say Just say it, I will listen.
It Doesn't Suck
So I think the preceding comment is a bit pretentious and over the top, BUT it's a damn good album. It's like the Psychedelic Furs meet U2 in the year 2050 after a Cure concert. Definitely upbeat, poppy, happy music: music to drive to, music to sing at the top of your lungs to, music to get over your boyfiend to... Solid, sincere upbeat tuneage, sufficiently angst-ridden lyrics. Overall lexicon rating: I'd buy it.
hey, tom how can you you do this to us blink fans? thats my question..... we been with you through the good times and the bad times. then it just came out of no were and you said you are breaking up with them. you cant do that to your good friends.... my teacher once said you should never let your band mates down no matter if their bad or really good that you cant take it anymore, but my point is never let your band mates down or ever your best friends. we miss you with blink and its just not the same.... we need you again. i know you started a new band and you want to make a new rock and roll thing but the truth is you can't. honestly, i think blink was way better then your new band... you said that you will never let your fans down, you did! almost everyday i cry because of the break up and i hate that, i have to hide from my parents so they wont see me cry because i dont want to explain it to them. Remember that one time on the urethra chronicles 2 you said that blink will be one of those bands that will be around forever and you guys will still be making CD's even if nobody buys them or uses them for toliet paper. then that will be the best f***in toliet paper they ever used.... will what happened? my point here is i really want blink-182 to get back together again asap... we all need you and if you go on blink182.com and read all the comments then you will see how many people want blink back together.. please read this and go on the site and try to talk to mark and travis and try and work things out. PLEASE..... FOR THE FANS..... WE LOVE BLINK AND WE ALL MISS YOU!!!!!!! well all i can say is just try for us. dont forget we all are there for you no matter what. we are wating... just remember and think about it. just try. love ya always blink-182 we pray for blink-182 always
