With a few weeks off to fan the flames, manic will be back in the UK for a show with Angels & Airwaves at Earl's Court in late April, strings of tours, and festival appearances...whether we're playing or being body guards for The Arctic Monkeys.

We have two days off...finally. HUGE thanks to Clearlake for the love they showed us on tour. They left to venture off on their own headlining run through Europe. Bob's your uncle, good luck lads.

We have a handful of dates left on this tour. In Leeds now and the 4 of us are sharing undesireable intestine discomfort and cold extremedies. It's snowing and I'm looking out the window of an internet cafe wondering, "How did the English go so terribly wrong in their cullinary cuisine...if you want to call it that." I would push my mom down a flight of stairs for a bite of your taco.

So despite barely passing through customs, not being able to figure out how to use our phones, blowing out a tire in the middle of nowhere (at midnight), having our only rehearsal thwarted by the powers that be, being told at the last minute that we were not on the bill for our first show, driving a stick shift van through the tiny un-named streets of England, and hyde biting weather, we are having the time of our lives.

Our first show is tonight with The Crimea and Clearlake. We were releived to see that The Crimea is the only band in the world (bar Bon Jovi) who has more gear than we do...which is convenient since we are the openners. Anyway, be sure to now check the link to our myspace on the site and don't forget that Bob's your uncle.

Ok, here is the news. Manic has redone the EP a bit. it will be in local stores and avail online very soon. be sure to pick up a copy as it will have new songs.

We are also finishing up writing our record. To clear up any type of rumors, Ryan is not out of the band by any means. He is just on break. In the meantime, Tony Hajjar (Sparta/At the Drive in) will be filling in for ryan, as well as playing on the record. We start recording on June 19th with John Goodmanson (Blood Brothers, Blonde Redhead, Kind of like spitting) at Longview Farms Studios outside of Boston. The record will see a release sometime next year so stop asking. This site will be redone in the next few weeks and we will also kill your family.

Manic has just recently parted ways with bass player, Chris McClure (on goood terms in case you are wondering). That being said, we will be auditioning bass players asap. If you play bass or know anyone who does, please send him/her our way as, ideally, we'd love somebody who already is familiar with and appreciates our music. We sincerely wish Chris the best of luck and look forward to a our change. Thanks to all the people around the world who have purchased ep's from us.
